&#;Daedalic has announced that its hand-drawn comedy sci-fi adventure Deponia won't be coming out this August at all as we were told back in July.It's now been pushed back to mid-September. It's a traditional-style point-and-click adventure that focuses on inventory-based puzzles and moments of goofball comedy.You play as trash tinkerer Rufus as he attempts to escort a woman called Goal out of the slums.She fell to him one day, from the privileged sky city of Elysium, high above the trash piles that Rufus dwells in.&#;

As we saw yesterday, WWDC 2018 had a big emphasis on improving Apple's AR technology. To surprise us all LEGO's Director of Innovation, Martin Sanders, took to the stage to talk us through their upcoming project.With the announcement of ARKit 2, the new LEGO AR app incorporates the features boasted in yesterday's Keynote, including 3D object detection and shared experience. Sanders started off by checking out a physical LEGO set with an iPad. The set quickly burst to life in AR and became something you could interact with digitally.When in use with the app, the LEGO structure suddenly comes to life as characters and buildings burst into frame. LEGO-folks can be interacted with, special characters can be added, and you can be joined by up to four friends for simultaneous play.One of its cooler features is that you can open up buildings, peeking inside at what its residents are getting up to. In the case of the demo, a baker accidentally set his shop on fire so it was all very exciting. It's up to you to travel to different locations and uncover the missing digits.The Daydream's controller will make interacting with the environment around you much more effective and natural, and with a bunch of different elements to mess around with you may have some entertaining situations and puzzles to look forward to.Unfortunately there's not much information available on the game as of yet. Its teaser trailer doesn't reveal much, other than to let us know that the same style and humour will be present - oh, and that it'll be coming out in 'spring'. There is so much that I like about Castle Scout.It combines a retrotastic arcade shooter with match-3 puzzle action.You catch the ghosts floating above you, and then shoot them upwards towards the monsters that slowly descend the castle's floors towards you.The ghosts will only kill the monsters if they match their colour. If they don't, the monster will leap down to your level and explode to weaken the floor.Below the floor is lava, which will kill you if you fall in. If you get caught in an explosion, you'll also die. It's easy to die, trust me, I've done it enough times.It's a solid idea, and the presentation is superb.The explosions feel really good even though their only purpose is to kill me. The colourful and rascally monsters that cause them also make me smile.All the music and sound effects hit my nostalgia bone and really round the game off, too. The look and sound of it has been nailed. It's solid in that regard.StompedAll of this goodness is why it's such a shame that the controls aren't as responsive as they need to be.
